The United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley's strong financial health and commitment to accountability and transparency have earned it a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, America’s largest independent charity evaluator. A 4-star rating is the highest you can receive from this organization.
Only 28% of the 8,000 charities evaluated by Charity Navigator achieve a 4-star rating for two consecutive years.
