ACLD Learning Center
The ACLD SCHOOL is a private, not for profit school for children with learning difficulties in 1st through 8th grades.
ACLD School is a Jon Peterson Special Needs Scholarship and Autism Scholarship provider.

Alta Care Group, Inc.
Alta Care Group, the area’s leading expert in strengthening vulnerable children, is the parent organization of Alta Behavioral Healthcare, a contract agency of the Mahoning County Mental Health and Recovery Board; and Alta Head Start, the county’s provider of Head Start and Early Head Start services.
Our mission is to support the social, emotional, behavioral and physical well-being of children, adolescents, young adults and their families. With the help of local, state and federal funding, Alta Care Group, Inc. has developed into a multi-service behavioral health care treatment and comprehensive preschool organization.

American Red Cross, Lake to River Chapter
The American Red Cross prevents and alleviates human suffering in the face of emergencies by mobilizing the power of volunteers and the generosity of donors.

Beatitude House
The services we offer have a strong focus on education, a principle Sr. Margaret Scheetz valued as the best way to help one's self. Our programming is continually expanding to serve the changing needs of disadvantaged women and children. For all the work we do, there are still women and children in the community who are underserved.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Mahoning Valley
Provides volunteer role models to children that need them.  The mentoring program consists of both site based and community based match relationships.  

Boy Scouts of America/ Great Trail Council
Providing the scouting experience to youth to build character and prepare boys and girls to make informed choices and to reach their full potential.

Boys and Girls Club of Youngstown
Provides programs and services in a safe, supervised environment. Inspires and enables all young people of our community to realize their full potential as caring, productive and responsible citizens. The Club offers daily access to a broad range of programs in five core areas: Education and Career Development, Character and Leadership Development, Health and Life Skills, The Arts, and Sports, Fitness and Recreation. The Positive Place for Kids!

Catholic Charities Regional Agency
Provides programs designed to preserve and strengthen families: individual and family support services, senior support services, housing counseling, pregnancy support and adoption services, emergency assistance, homeless outreach and case management services.

Community Legal Aid
Provides legal assistance to low-income families and individuals with a wide range of critical civil legal problems.  In addition to providing legal representation, Legal Aid reaches many thousands more through community education and outreach efforts.

Compass Family & Community Services
COMPASS provides services that empower, enhance and strengthen individuals and families of the Mahoning Valley through an array of services that respond to the changing needs of the community.  Programs include Daybreak Youth Crisis Shelter, Sojourner House Domestic Violence Services, Center for Workforce Development, Financial Education Services, The Rape Crisis and Counseling Center, Guardianship Program, Ryan White Medical Case Management, Behavioral Health Residential Services, Behavioral Health Counseling Services, Behavioral Health Case Management Services and an Intensive Community Treatment Team.  

Emmanuel Community Care Group
Provides four units of Permanent Supportive Housing to single women and single women with children in collaboration with Beatitude House and Coleman Professional Services.  Also provides food, clothing and emergency assistance to those in need in the surrounding community.

Girl Scouts of Northeast Ohio
Girl Scouts is the preeminent leadership development organization for girls.  Girl Scouts of North East Ohio serves more than 42,000 girls and 15,000 adults in an 18-county region.  Membership is extended to all girls and adults who accept the Girl Scout Promise and Law.  Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place.

Goodwill Industries, Youngstown Area
Provide vocational rehabilitation, job placement, and employment to people with disabilities and other barriers to employment, helping them achieve full participation in society by expanding opportunities and personal independence.  Individuals who are visually impaired can receive additional services including radio reading, orientation and mobility training; amblyopia screening operates as a preventative program.

Help Hotline Crisis Center
Provides 24-hour community information and referral crisis hotline, 211, Cold Weather Emergency Shelter Program, Drop in Center, Guardianship Program, Payeeship Program, Housing Assistance Program, Homeless outreach program, Senior line, victims assistance program, Special Navigator (for families with special needs), Volunteer Program for telephone Crisis Workers, BRIDGES and WRAP (MH Consumer education), warm line, and and victims of crime and suicide support groups.

Interfaith Home Maintenance
Provides free emergency and necessary home repair for low-income homeowners.

Jewish Community Center
The JCC is a full service agency serving all ages in professionally developed programs.  For over 50 years, the J on Gypsy Lane has been a committed member of the Northside community.

Jewish Family Services
Jewish Family Services was created in 1935 by the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation to meet the social service needs of the Jewish community. Jewish Family Services affirms its commitment to caring for all people. It does so with an understanding of Jewish values and an awareness of the uniqueness of each individual and their situation. Every person is treated with respect, confidentiality, and careful attention.  Each year, hundreds of people benefit from our diverse programs and services.

Mahoning Valley Dispute Resolution Services
Provides mediation and dispute resolution services, as well as conflict resolution training programs, to individuals, families and businesses in Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana Counties.

Millcreek Children's Center
Millcreek Children’s Center is an academically focused preschool located in the inner-city with highly qualified teachers who prepare the preschoolers for a productive school experience and instill a sense of community, based on positive values.  Children of poor, working parents attend Monday through Friday from 7:30-4:30, year-round.

Neighborhood Ministries
A faith-based organization that serves the City of Campbell and two Youngstown neighborhoods, providing after-school programming, tutoring, Bible study, family assistance, mentoring, field trips, medical and work transportation, referral services, field trips, drug and alcohol abuse prevention programming, commodity distributions, job training and more.

Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic
The Neil Kennedy Recovery Clinic has been delivering treatment for people with alcohol and other drug related problems since 1946.  NKRC uses three regional locations (Youngstown, Austintown, and Howland) to provide a comprehensive continuum of high quality inpatient and outpatient treatment services.  It also provides recovery support services and award winning community education and prevention services.  

OCCHA
OCCHA is a non-profit organization situated in Youngstown, Ohio, serving Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana Counties. Since its founding in March 1972, OCCHA has worked to identify problem areas in the Spanish-speaking community and establish programs to address them. Our mission is to strive to improve the quality of life for Hispanics and others in the multicultural community by providing social, economic, cultural, and educational programs.

OH WOW! The Roger and Gloria Jones Children's Center for Science and Technology
Enriches the lives of children by creating a welcoming environment where they can develop learning skills and knowledge through the exploration of hands-on exhibits and educational programs with a focus on STEM.

The Rich Center for Autism
A facility that improves the lives of individuals with autism and their families through the creation, use and enhancement of innovative educational programs specifically designed to assure the attainment of a life of dignity and to enhance the individual's opportunities to achieve their full potential.

The Salvation Army
Provides programs and services to help meet basic human needs.  Also provides educational, social development, and recreational programs for children, youth, and adults.

Second Harvest Food Bank
Provides food to hunger relief organizations including church pantries, shelters for battered women, soup kitchens, and homeless shelters in Columbiana, Mahoning and Trumbull counties.

United Methodist Community Center
The United Methodist Community Center is a non-profit organization serving the needs of young people in crisis and their families in the greater Mahoning Valley.

YMCA of Youngstown
The YMCA of Youngstown is dedicated to building healthy, confident, connected and secure children, teens, adults, families and communities.  The YMCA puts Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all.  The Y works to strengthen the foundations of our community through diverse programs that support youth development, healthy living and social responsibility.  

Youngstown Hearing & Speech Center
Comprehensive adult and pediatric speech/language and audiology services, hearing aid dispensing, and sales of assistive listening devices.  Deaf services, interpreting, sign language advocacy, and vocational services for Deaf.

YWCA of Youngstown
Provides Housing, Youth and Empowerment Programs.  Early childhood care and learning from 6 weeks old through pre-K.  After-school and summer programs for school-age children.  Youth services available at several locations.  Housing and supportive services for low-income, homeless women and families.  Health education and screening events for low income and minority women.  Hallmark programs include Economic Empowerment for women and Racial Justice.  Women’s Leadership workshops to educate women in career advancement.
