TESTIMONIALS

  • Meet Josephine. She is one of our seniors who receives food through our Satur-Day of Caring every month. The one month she was chatting with our volunteer who delivered her food, and she told him she is an artist. Due to the pandemic, she couldn't get out to replenish her art supplies. So our very generous volunteer went out and got her some supplies, and set them on her porch the next day. Josephine called us to thank our volunteer and our United Way for the help. Now, every so often, Josephine will send us a piece of her art. We are so grateful for our wonderful volunteers and the amazing relationships they are forming with those on their Satur-Day of Caring Routes.

  • Every month, the week after we deliver food to 350 homes, our United Way receives personal thank you cards and phone calls from those we help each month.
Here are just a few snippets of what they have to say:
"I am so thankful. You have been a blessing to me and my family."

"I am sending you a universal thank you to your staff. Your commitment to us means a lot"

"Just a note to let you all know how thankful I am for your thoughtfullness and kindness"
