United Way COVID 19 Response Fund – Agency Information

The United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley created the COVID-19 Response Fund to assist our community during the coronavirus pandemic. As this health emergency is constantly evolving, your United Way remains steady as the backbone agency connecting funds and resources to our partners that serve children, families, and individuals in need during this uncertain time.

The response fund will be used to support and stabilize our funded partner agencies, local non-profit agencies, and school districts we serve through our Success By 6 and Success After 6 initiatives. The number of people in need is shifting and increasing under the current circumstances, so we must be ready to act responsibly and efficiently.

The COVID-19 Community Response Fund is designed to assist the agencies and organizations supporting the most vulnerable in our Valley. Our fund complements the work by public health officials and expands local capacity to address the many needs created by the coronavirus.
