Women in the local community are recruited to volunteer as mentors for 5th-7th grade girls.
Mentors and mentees meet once a week.
 
 
Seeking successful African-American and Hispanic men from the local community as positive role models and mentors for 6th and 7th grade boys.
Mentors and mentees meet once a week.
 
 
Volunteers serve as mentors to meet with students to review their report cards and offer support and engagement for student success.

Passionate and Caring women dedicaed to making a tangible impact on the lives of our Valley's children through volunteering in Early Education. You can be a part of a grass roots effort to unite women across the Valley in give back in various ways, including volunteering with our Success After 6 initiative.
 
 
A community-wide day of volunteering partnered with YNCD and the City of Youngstown. On the first Friday of September, you can join hundreds of local businesses and organizations to revitalize a neighborhood in Youngstown.
 
 
Vision Screening
In the fall of 2018, volunteers will help conduct vision screenings during the school day at nine elementary schools in the Youngstown City District and one in the Liberty School District.  These screenings are held during a 2-4 week time frame established by the school and partnering agencies.
