DeSalvo Construction Partners with Inspiring Minds of Warren and The United Way to Make a Difference in our local communities.
HUBBARD, OHIO — November 21, 2023 — DeSalvo Construction proudly announces its partnership with Inspiring Minds of Warren and The United Way of Youngstown and the Mahoning Valley for Giving Tuesday. In the spirit of giving back and honoring company tradition, DeSalvo Construction will match 100% of all donations, up to $25,000 per organization, to support education, families, and community development.
Joe DeSalvo, President of DeSalvo Construction of Hubbard, expressed his commitment to philanthropy and volunteerism as a core value within the company culture. “We feel deeply about giving back to our community,” he stated. “Inspiring Minds excels in motivating students in Warren, spanning grades 3-12, to realize their fullest potential through a diverse range of supportive initiatives and exposure-driven opportunities. It’s a truly impressive organization.”
Inspiring Minds Founder and CEO, Dercyk Toles, expressed gratitude for the collaboration with DeSalvo Construction. “Your donations will help us provide tutoring, resources for our kids, and college visits. Next year, we’re taking our kids to New Orleans, and we have a goal to take them back to Africa. This contribution is going to be huge for our students.”

With the help of DeSalvo Construction and the community, we will not only be able to reach our goals but exceed them. This community has always been exceedingly generous, and this just proves it further.”
Joe emphasizes, “These campaigns are about giving everyone a chance to pay it forward, contribute to a community that raised them or have an outlet to share joy with the world. That can mean a five-dollar donation or a five-thousand-dollar donation. It’s the care surrounding the gift that matters most.”
